That's normal.  That is the mini-application which connects MacPerl 
to your Web server such that Unix CGI scripts run normally under 
MacPerl.  It is created when you Save As... CGI Script.

I believe not.

I believe your newlines need to be correct before you open your 
script with MacPerl.
