Hello Everyone, Sorry to keep asking about this, but I am once again having network configuration problems, and would welcome any ideas, or useful resources. I use my Mac as a server, running QPQ, and have a PC connected by Ethernet. I have (after many attempts) finally configured the Mac so that I can use real domain names to access the sites we are working on. Previously, I could only access a site by using the IP address of the Mac, and switching QPQ's root folder to access different sites. This is obviously not ideal. I have now created a host file for TCP/IP, as follows: www.team-artonomy.com A 192.168.1.2 local CNAME www.team-artonomy.com Now I can enter the URL http://www.team-artonomy.com, and I can access the local site no problem. However, it only works using a browser on the Mac. If I use the same domain name on the PC, I get the usual overcomplicated 'This page could not be loaded' gubbins. I can still access the server using the IP address (i.e. http://192.168.1.2), but not the domain name. I assume this is down to the configuration of TCP/IP on the PC, or the configuration of my Host file. Does anyone have any ideas, or know of any resources that I can look up for clues? Any help would be much appreciated.
