I might have to drop it. I tend to agree. Usenet has it's charms, but increasingly groups are cluttered with spam and static from passers-by. This list stays pretty focused most of the time, certainly more so than the average newsgroup and even most mailing lists I've seen. Matthias, Would moderating a newsgroup be more or less work for you, compared to moderating this list and subduing rogue mail daemons? Or are the trade-offs about even? (BTW, as a novice programmer I appreciate this list and all you do for MacPerl!) >(For other subscribers of the list: There is now a new "Perl Journal", and I'm > going to write an article on MacPerl for issue #2). Great! I was going to ask about availabilty but a quick search on Yahoo turned up this URL: http://orwant.www.media.mit.edu/the_perl_journal/ All needed info is there, but not much in the way of sample articles yet.
