The eg folder is so totally unported to MacPerl that I thought it better to omit it. >A question about Shuck_10a1: Can it be used as a 'file' helper (Internet >Config) for MacPerl? So far, I've only discussed Shuck with a select circle of initiates. Shuck is a small standalone Pod reader; the idea is that eventually it will indeed become an IC helper (However, I think I'll call it pod: rather than file:). I'm not sure, however, if this will happen in time for the 5.1.0 release. >=46inally, is it safe to replace 5.0.7r1m (12Mar96) by the 5.1.0b2r2 release= >. >or should I wait for a final, final 5.1.0 non beta version? I have a good feeling about the core, but the distribution still has a few bugs and 5.1.0 nonbeta is not too far away. Switch to 5.1.0 if you want to use the toolbox or have specific Perl bugs, stay with 5.0.7 if your current scripts work fine.
