[MacPerl] non-macperl scripts on HTTP server

If this is the wrong place for this type of question, and I'll leave....

Basically, can I make a non MacPerl CGI run on a local Mac (running
HTTP2.2).  I have the PCGI, and the included Demo.cgi which works fine.

Also, how can I change the CHMOD on files as well

Pardon my inexperinced questions, but I am new to Perl and it's inergration
with HTPP
