Does this work if saved/run as a droplet?

I was just fixin't post a question about doing things like...

  perl -MLWP::Simple -e 'getprint "http://www.perl.com/perl/CPAN/CPAN.html"'
  <an example from lwpcook.pod, the LWP Cookbook>

...and ask about doing one-liners in MacPerl. <MPW cmd line excluded>.

So. Apart from using the debugger <can be done, right?> how does one do
one-liners in MacPerl?

<The LWP example above fails on my 8500 w/ version 5.1.0r2>
