As I understand it, the Mac port of Tcl/Tk was done using the latest
version that moved the event handling stuff out of Tk into the core Tcl.
Nick has not released the pTk that matches that version because
Perl needs to have an equivalent event handling mechanism added
to the core or as an extension. Nick has stated that he is working
on the events stuff, but until its done, we are out of luck on
a MacPerlTk (sniff).
