BTW, as many of us are awaiting the arrival of Bluto (the e-mail client from Bare Bones Software, makers of BBEdit) I had this correspondence with tech support at BBSW: >>BTW, I am working on and use various scripts and extensions for BBEdit >>(especially Perl scripts through the Perl Filters and Run Perl >extensions) >and I wonder if anyone there can tell me if I will be able >to use those >with Bluto ... ? > >The basic extension interface will be the same, and anything written per >the current specification should also work with Bluto. Incidentally, if >you come up with any Perl extensions that might be of general interest, >we would appreciate being able to include them with future versions of >the BBEdit CD-ROM. So it appears as though Brad's MacPerl extensions should work with Bluto, which is a huge relief to me ... also, you CAN use an alias as your BBEdit Extension folder, so I don't think you'd have to keep two copies of each extension lying around. Cooooooool. #======================================================================== I got a new shadow. I had to get rid of the other one... It wasn't doing what I was doing. --Steven Wright Chris Nandor pudge@pobox.com PGP Key 0xB76E72AD http://pudge.net/
