No, but I've tried Java. Java specifically outlaws
client I/O. This is their means of maintaining
security on the client's machine. Until they define
a set of maintainable protocols that will permit
client side I/O, Java cannot work for my application.

In any event, I prefer Perl and would rather write it
in Perl.
