[MacPerl] duplication of folder ???

Hello,

a simple question:

how can i duplicate a folder? 
I mean how can i make a copy folder1 to folder2 where folder1 and
folder2 are both in folder3?

i ve tried FSpDirectoryCopy($dir1,$dir2,1);

but it copy dir1 IN dir2 not AS dir2

please a solution without applescript.
