Well, I've certainly asked more questions of the list than I've been able to answer, but... About the only benefit I can see, speaking personally (of course) is that it'd allow me to use DejaNews as a de facto 'listserv archive', in light of the fact that Sandra Silcott's (otherwise excellent) site at <http://www.its.unimelb.edu.au:801/hma/pub/macperl/> seems to have not been updated for quite some time. Other than that (small) benefit, I don't see any reason why I'd vote for a USENET version of the list. tpg -- Tim Guinn | guinn@mail.utexas.edu LAN Administrator | http://www.utexas.edu/admin/purchasing/ UTexas @ Austin Purchasing | v 512.471.2855 f 512.471.7745 ***** Want to unsubscribe from this list? ***** Send mail with body "unsubscribe" to mac-perl-request@iis.ee.ethz.ch
