Personally, I am currently against it as well. But I just thought it should be discussed. I'm kinda "proposing" the idea because I figured most people would be against it. Sorta like a devil's advocate here. But what about the idea of having a mailing-list<=>usenet gateway? Then those who like the convenience of a mailing list could not complain, because it would still work the same way for them.
