Look in the perlfunc man page under opendir, readdir, unlink.

Not really.  Go to the newsgroup comp.lang.perl.misc.  But here's a tip:
read a book on Perl ("Learning Perl" by Randal Schwartz [O'Reilly &
Associates] is recommended), the perl man pages, and the perl FAQ
(http://www.perl.com/perl/) before asking too many more questions.  We help
those who help themselves.
