I would like to cache images and pages on a users machine while they are reading a main page. (which is long and would allow time to cache pages and images) How would I go about this without switching the user to that page and/or showing the user the graphic. for graphics I have tried <img src=images/etc.gif height=0 width=0> and it still shows in MSIE 3.0x I dont know how to do this via a perl script but I am assuming there is a way. If not in perl, then excuse the posting to macperl and cgi-l but, what is the next best step? ** professional site: http://www.jann.com/ personal site: http://www.jann.com/jann/ email: mailto:webmaster@jann.com ** Funniest definition I've ever heard: Windows 95: n. 32 bit extensions and a graphical shell for a 16 bit patch to an 8 bit operating system originally coded for a 4 bit microprocessor, written by a 2 bit company. ***** Want to unsubscribe from this list? ***** Send mail with body "unsubscribe" to mac-perl-request@iis.ee.ethz.ch
