It can be done with Netscape 3.0+, using dynamic HTML & Javascript. See
Netscape's site for info on Javascript's "Image" object & its associated
methods. No guarantees on this working in MSIE's JScript.

BTW, (noting original post's multi-list spamming); as you said yrself, this
question doesn't have anything to do with MacPerl, or even regular Perl,
not to mention CGI.
