[MacPerl] Dialing with MacPerl?

There's a cute little (free) appliation called Sitewatcher that will
monitor your websites and then launch whatever program you wish... I'd like
to throw together a quick little MacPerl script that will talk to my modem
and dial my pager number....

Anybody got some code (or a pointer to some code) that already does this
that I can hack around with?
