I thought that perhaps it was QUED/M that was at fault, but this time the result was same: Select "EditÉ" from the "BBEdit" menu (or press cmd-E) and MacPerl unloads with a type 1 error after the GetFile dialog comes up and a script is selected to "Open", just as it always did with QUED/M installed as the helper!
