[MacPerl] Consoles/Getfile

I need to get gusi's &getfile function to work. I don't have the examples
on hand, but I've tried it EXACTLY as it says. everything works, but I get
no prompt, just the window. I've been thinking of using a second console
and positioning it to display the prompt, but I don't know how to do that
yet (I'll probably have to use applescript, since dev:console doesn't seem
to accept coordinates, though I wouldn't know).

Help!
