For some reason, the standard MacOS open box has no prompt, and I'm currently
using the standard open box. If you're *really* desperate, you should easily
get a prompt by using Mac::Dialogs to provide a prompt window as you
suggested, but that idea has gone out of fashion in Mac Human Interface design,
I think.
