This is one of the reasons why C programs do not (sometimes) work with HTML on some systems. The C program does not return the proper line endings. :-) Up until recently, MacPerl had to send information back to the web server via the MacPerl::Reply command. But Matthias (with help from others or by himself?) fixed this problem.
