Sigh. I noticed that when running some LWP tests yesterday. For the moment, I've decided to deal with this problem by turning the warning message off: The leaking scalars are not something that users can influence, and those who can hunt them down have other ways of getting this information. In the grand tradition of the Peaceful Scientific Exploitation of Nuclear Power, I'm thus putting an end to the dissemination of these Alarmist Messages who cannot but Confuse the Minds of a Scientifically Illiterate Public. >(Speaking of LWP, 5.14 is out and I should get a chance to put together the >.sit.hqx in the next couple of days). Speaking of LWP, I just finished integrating 5.13 into the distribution. I'm pleased to report that the only site customization necessary is now for $ENV{HOME} and media.types: $ENV{TMPDIR} and $ENV{USER} will become predefined, many other $ENV's are fetched through internet config, and $ENV{METRICS} happens to be the font folder available through FindFolder. I'll try to get a set of patches to you ASAP.
