Guess I missed the earlier discussions in the mail list and deleted
them not knowing I'd need it later.  Thanks for your patience.

Did that to DynaLoader:dl_findfile.al.

Yes, BBEdit showed it clearly as a UNIX file and gives a button to change
it to Mac.

By coincidence rather than intent, I had gotten the files from your site
because the CPAN sites I tried either wouldn't respond (Oregon) or were
abysmally slow (both Californias)

Now it runs fine.
