You'd probably be better off with a book you could pester in real time... a good index is at least as useful as a mailing list, and CGI questions aren't really germane to this list in any case. I recommend O'Reilly's books on both perl and CGI; this list is an excellent resource in the rare case of a mac-specific divergence from unix perl but is not intended to involve much more labor than that. Apple runs some beginner web-centric lists, available from: http://www.lists.apple.com/lists/listshere.html One of those, apple-internet-authoring, is set up for CGI questions, though I don't expect they're geared toward providing a tutorial either. Note that older browsers may have some trouble with that page and all others at the lists site; Apple's virtual domains are having some trouble. -nat ps: make sure you have the slightest need for CGI before you convince yourself you have to learn it. HTML has a much shorter learning curve than perl or applescript, and it's more than enough for most people's web needs. ***** Want to unsubscribe from this list? ***** Send mail with body "unsubscribe" to mac-perl-request@iis.ee.ethz.ch
