Hi folks, I've been beating my head for several weeks now, off and on, and I still can't manage to figure this one out. I need a script (or MacPerl droplet) that I can use to cull email addresses out of several html pages. I'm not looking to spam anyone, just notify somewhere between 3000 and 10, 000 people who have used my classified site that it has changed URLs and been upgraded. I managed to get a script written that would at least isolate each line containing an address, but (I know i can be dense) I'm stumped at this point. Any one willing to help?? My eternal gratitude to you all. If ned be, I'll see if I can scrounge up the script I've come up with, just to let you see what I have done. I _do_ want this to be a learning experience.
