I didn't see the UNIQUE command anywhere yesterday, though- >maybe I just missed it. I was just thinking more on this, and I added the UNIQUE option to File::Sort. Basically, if enabled, during the merging of the files it only prints a line if that line does not match the last line grabbed. Of course, this makes the sorting even slower (when this option is enabled), but it seems to work without a hitch. As you probably noticed, I already posted File::Sort 0.01 to my web site; I'll be posting this version (0.02) soon. -- Chris Nandor pudge@pobox.com http://pudge.net/ %PGPKey=('B76E72AD',[1024,'0824 090B CE73 CA10 1FF7 7F13 8180 B6B6']) #== MacPerl: Power and Ease ==# #== Publishing Date: Early 1998. http://www.ptf.com/macperl/ ==# ***** Want to unsubscribe from this list? ***** Send mail with body "unsubscribe" to mac-perl-request@iis.ee.ethz.ch
