It doesn't appear that I've screwed up my MacPerl. >(I'm trying to learn package scheme) Do not C<use MacPerl> for this. MakeFSSpec has nothing to do with it. See help under MacPerl specifics or see The MacPerl Package review chapter online for my book (though yes, these errors should not be occuring regardless). Ah, I see you have already looked at that chapter ... what you want is C<package MacPerl>, not C<use MacPerl>. The MacPerl package (where MakeFSSpec is located) is built in to MacPerl, while C<use MacPerl> invokes the MacPerl.pm module, which you do not need for these situations. -- Chris Nandor pudge@pobox.com http://pudge.net/ %PGPKey=('B76E72AD',[1024,'0824 090B CE73 CA10 1FF7 7F13 8180 B6B6']) #== MacPerl: Power and Ease ==# #== Publishing Date: Early 1998. http://www.ptf.com/macperl/ ==# ***** Want to unsubscribe from this list? ***** Send mail with body "unsubscribe" to mac-perl-request@iis.ee.ethz.ch
