[MacPerl] The FTP problem

Ok - never mind.  :-/

It turns out (after further investigation) that our system
administrator (after telling me I could set the privileges
to the FTP directory she'd set up for me to anything I
wanted) decided to change the directory so the privileges
were only for read - not write and I can no longer change
them.  Argh.  :-(
