I turned on the -w flag to try to figure out why that FTP problem was occuring. I got something else which I was wondering about. :-) The statement is: $theReply = <<END_HTML; blah blah blah.... END_HTML Why does the "$theReply = <<END_HTML;" generate the following: Use of uninitialized value at /disk4/igoal/Scripts/mldb/checkOut4.cgi line 211. ?????? It is an assignment operator which is being used. So shouldn't MacPerl/Perl recognize this and not place a warning about it in the log file? Just wondering. :-) ***** Want to unsubscribe from this list? ***** Send mail with body "unsubscribe" to mac-perl-request@iis.ee.ethz.ch
