[MacPerl] MacPerl::Volume

When assigning MacPerl::Volume to an array, is the startup drive
"guaranteed" to be the first element?

For example, should
<code>
    use MacPerl;
    @disks = MacPerl::Volumes;
    $startup = shift @vols;
</code>
 always be true?

I've tested this on my PowerBook and desktop system (both with OS 8 and
MacPerl 518r4), and the pattern seems to be:

Startup Volume
Other partitions, if any, on startup device
Floppy Drive
Other drives in order by SCSI ID: 0..7
