[MacPerl] Server runtime problems . . . again

Hiya all,

I know it's difficult to help people if you don't have the code but in
this case I didn't think that it would help all that much, plus, there's
a lot of html in the code making it a bit on the large side to be posted
to the list. So in order that somebody (hopefully) can help me out I've
put the code on a web page,

http://www.syphax.co.uk/Script.html

My origional message is posted below and I would appreciate any help or
advice from all you Perl gurus . . .

PS. please don't laugh at the code too much, I'm only just getting into
this . . .

I've written a script running on one server that works fine. Everything

in it should work fine under Perl 4, but as the server is running a
compiler version 5.001 this is no problem. I have moved the script over

to the clients web-space (different server) and now the script is
throwing errors at me such as uninitialised variables. The new server
is running compiler version 5.003 and most of the errors that it is
giving me I had origionally and fixed successfully.

Does anybody know what might have changed from 5.001 to 5.003 to cause
these problems ?
