Is there a limit to the size of a script that MacPerl can handle? I created a script that is 47,135 bytes large, saved it as a droplet, and it ran fine. Then i tried to edit it and MacPerl said it's too big so i could either edit it in some other program or save it as text. Allocating 40MB of RAM to MacPerl didn't make a difference. It still won't open the file. I tried cutting and pasting the file from BBEDIT to MacPerl, but MacPerl still won't take it. When i created the script originally, i wrote it in BBEDIT and cut and paste it into MacPerl _as i went along_. Perhaps each little chunk was digestable, but trying to deal with it all at once is too much for MacPerl to handle? I've tried rebooting and it doesn't make a difference. I'm running a PowerMac 7100/66AV with System 7.5.5. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!
