I would like to thank every one for their responces to this question, I was over whelmed by the number. I had orginally wrote a checklist that used Fetch to move the files to the unix box. However, everyone from an Airman to a two star General was using this procedure to transfer the files and there were problems, and not with the Airmen. I was then asked to come up with a simpler method, naturally I turned to MacPerl. My solution was to embed AppleScript into a droplet. The Applescript copied the files from the disk to a folder on the Mac. Then MacPerl then ftp'ed those files to the unix box. It worked, but it was a very crude solution, and took a long time to execute. Larry Prall's script seems to work every time I've tried it. I will incorporate it into my droplet when I get back to work. Again Thank You for all the suggestions.
