Ah, there is your problem.  If you had run whichMacPerl (available at
http://pudge.net/macperl/), it would have told you.  You need
AppleScriptLib 1.2.2.

I do not know where you can get it; I think it would be in System 7.5,
7.5.3, or 7.5.5.  But apparently you don't have it.  I do have a copy that
was installed with System 7.6.  Maybe that was the first version with
1.2.2, I don't know.  It SHOULD be available for free from Apple's site,
but I do not think it is.  :/

You don't need MPW to use the libraries I have compiled for CFM68K and PPC
MacPerl.  I have now built 5 libraries in all, and none of them will work
with BigMacPerl, but all should work with CFM68K MacPerl.
