Me too!!!!

At the moment I have the following apple-event which works
fine:

$evt = AEBuildAppleEvent("TECx", "Conv", typeApplSignature,
"MACS", 0,0,"'----':ã$stringä,'frmE':ã$incodeä, 'toE ':ã$outcodeä");

(wrapped for easy reading)

Now, I wan't to make the text $string safer with TEXT(\@) or TEXT(@),
but cannot figure out how to do it. $incode and $outcode don't need
to be made save.

I would be happy for any hint.
