Some time ago i posted a little utility called ExtractModules wich packed all needed modules into the resource fork of a runtime script, enabling it to run on a target machine which doesn't have MacPerl installed. That worked fine with scripts which didn't make use of dynamically loaded shared libraries. But as all of the toolbox modules use shared libraries and people are more often writing scripts with GUI for target machines without MacPerl installed i decided to post a successor of ExtractModules called RuntimeBuilder. It's a dropplet which will save the dropped Perl script as runtime version and saves all needed modules in it's resource fork and all needed shared libs in a folder along the same path; together it's all you need for a standalone application. I didn't test it too long, but i'm using it often and it works; if it doesn't for you, give me feedback. Enjoy. Michael Attachment converted: mouse1:RuntimeBuilder.dp (eApp/CSOm) (00002A4B)
