[MacPerl] The Year 2000 Problem and MacPerl

I was wondering if anyone was using MacPerl (or Perl in general I guess)
to help handle the Y2K problems?  Since there are millions of lines of
code to be scanned for possible Y2K problems I would think that Perl on
all systems would be a natural to help locate the "99"'s in Cobol or
even the words "Year", "MMDDYY", etc....

(Not trying to start any Y2K debates or anything - just wondering about
the Perl/MacPerl public at large.)
