Hi Group, I have been using MacPerl 5.2.0r4 for a few days now and would love to do more with it. I find however that it frequently crashes especially when using the debugger. Often while debugging, I get the "out of memory" error followed by a crash. There were a couple of other odd happenings. One was a case where I "required" a source file. When I stepped the debugger through that require statement, it would get stuck somewhare in Carp. There was no trouble requiring other source files. I seem to have solved it by giving that source file a different name. Hmmm. There have been other inexplicable behaviors as well. The bottom line is that my first experiences with MacPerl have not been very productive. Is there a trick or something that I am missing to make it well-behaved? I am running on Mac 2fx, System 7.5.5, and loaded Mac_Perl_520r4_appl followed by Mac_Perl_520r4_bigappl. Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions.
