Unusual is good! BBEdit does it, and it honors the creator code when you Save
or even Save As over the file...

Of course for setting the creator of a file that a _script_ creates, a 
Preference would be nice... but above that I wouldn't mind the 32k
limit disappearing from MacPerl. Then I could open all of my files 
in MacPerl...
