I don't know, DBM is pretty simple, and once you've used perl for a while,
you'll be ready to roll your own operating system. :-)

Yes, clearly, but the audience of my message and this discussion is MacPerl
users, and MacPerl users savvy enough to find and join the mailing list. To
*those* users, freely available source code is a wonderful thing (well, at
least to *this* member of that group :-))
