I already spent more than 10 hours on this problem, but still don't even have a clue of what went wrong. I wrote a MacPerl script that works fine on my machine. But when I move the script to another computer, everything works except the calls to other applications using MacPerl::DoAppleScript. I already checked that AppleScript extension was on and current (May 97, same as the one on my computer). RAM should not be the problem, since the other computer had more RAM and virtue memory than mine. I also reviewed the paths to the applications. But even when I just removed the paths, the computer just would not even ask me for the locations of the other applications. The computer seemed to ignore anything in the section of MacPerl::DoAppleScript. I would appreciate any advise!
