It seem that your problem doesn't came from the MP extension.

Personnaly i get the same message when the CGI procesing made nothing. I
mean that the request  sended to the CGI  is not treated and/or has no
result output, so the CGI return an empty answer.  That for the :
'Document contains no data' output, wich is the most significant part of
the answer.

To debug that kind of problem i insert a sentence, 'I have been here (...)
', in the CGI, to locate the instructions where the program stop.  Each
time it is succesfull, i move  the sentence further into the program.

I hope it match your problem.
