How do others feel about this, and what >is Matthias' policy regarding attachments? My personal feelings are: I don't like it. This is an exchange forum for ideas, not for utilities. I download my mail on a PC, so if posted this way, I must save the archive, copy it onto my Mac, expand it there, and open it in MacPerl to see what it is. Ugh. I prefer source code, which I can inspect on sight. Even if it's to be saved as a droplet: You should just say so, and those interested in doing it, can easily do it themselves. If your mail system is on a Mac, you can simply do copy and paste into the MacPerl editor. Sounds simple enough to me. Now, there's a huge part of the list subscribers that won't even bother. The attachment is pure garbage for them. Bart. ***** Want to unsubscribe from this list? ***** Send mail with body "unsubscribe" to mac-perl-request@iis.ee.ethz.ch
