I don't know the answer for sure, but since XML is text-only, I would be
horrified if there were Unix dependencies in it, but you never know.
Please drop me a line (or post) if you find out for sure--I didn't know of
its existence before.

Also, I know that HTML::Parser is included with the MacPerl dist, and its
docs mention that it could almost be called SGML::Parser, so you might
want to take a look at it, depending on what you want to do.
