[MacPerl] MacPerl strange runtime behaviour

I have MacPerl 5.2.0 rel 4 (runs on a 9600/200mp with system 7.5.5).

When I run a Perl script from within the MacPerl application (ie; run
MacPerl, Open a perl script, Run the opened script), the following
dialog box pops up three times in successing, and requires me to press
the 'cancel' button three times.

"Please insert the CD disk - NAME OF LAST MOUNTED CD VOLUME" "cancel"

After the third above dialog box goes away, the following dialog box
then pops up, once again three times, requiring me to press the 'cancel'
button three times to get past them.

"Please insert the diskette - NAME OF LAST MOUNTED DISKETTE" "cancel"

Only after these 6 dialog boxes go away, does my script run. The names
requested could have been mounted days previous to the current working
session. My scripts do not even try to work with any CD-rom files or
diskette files.

Has anyone else expreienced this, or know of the solution to this
anoying problem? Thanks.
