[MacPerl] Mac to Unix & back?

Listers,

I've written a CGI that works GREAT on my Mac (Mac OS 8.0, Perl 5.20r4)
with personal web sharing turned on but haven't got a clue how to make this
work on Unix. The script was written cross-platform (only modules used are
CGI.pm and Carp.pm) but we keep on getting an error saying something isn't
configured right.

Here's what we've done so far.

1. Had the Unix Admin install the latest production Perl (5.00404) and
CGI.pm (2.42).
2. saved the CGI as a text file and converted line endings to Unix flavor.
3. FTP'd the file to both the directory we'd like it to run and to the
cgi-bin folder.
4. Turned on R/E for everyone and R/W/E for others (chmod 775).
5. Changed the path in the first line to reflect the path on the Unix box.

Am I missing something?

OK, so call me a Mac weinie if you like -- I haven't used Unix in YEARS and
even then didn't dig very deep. Maybe this (as well as installs to other
platforms) should be in the FAQ or POD document included with MacPerl?

Suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks.
