In the days of Stuffit 1.5(.1), when it was Raymond Lau's shareware and not Aladdin's commercial product (with shareware subsets), the file format and algorithm was documented, and a Unix unstuffer was available in source code. You won't find many 1.5.1 files around any more, unless you're the one creating them. In which case, you might as well create them in a format like .zip or .tar.gz, using more modern and portable compression algorithms and formats. -- Michael A Stoodt [MaS] | mstoodt@umassd.edu | No boom _today_.
