The sales literature (posters, demos of Quicktime movies running, etc.) were mentioning/pushing Applescript rather prominently. My own suspicion is that this is more of a "compete with VB && VBScript on Windows" ploy, nevertheless they are mentioning the programmability of MacOS 8.5.
