the quote I used came from Andy Bachorski (andy@apple.com). He didn't say
he was part of the AppleScript/Event team but nobody disputed what he said
on the macscripting list.

I'd have preferred it for AppleEvents to have gone native at the expense of
AppleScript remaining non-native, but didn't get a vote 8-)
