Agreed, but it's kind of fun to keep trying...

Actually, I have two goals in hustling folks to "vote" in the
survey.  One is to help keep MacPerl in the limelight.  The fact
that we are doing as well as we are must be confusing some folks
and may make them remember that we are around.  (BTW, we have cut
SunOS's lead in half, since yesterday!)

My other goal is to promote the survey itself, along with its
built-in promotion of Perl.  I realize that my hustling may be
distorting the numbers a bit, but I don't think that's too heinous
an offence (:-).

Actually, as I understand it, the Windows ports have been pretty
insipid until recently, so the standangs MAY be a reflection of
the high quality (and amazing persistence :-) of Matthias' woork.

In any case, the standings should help us to get a better reaction
from the Perl Conference folks this year (Last year, they punted a
paper by Chris and Matthias, largely because of small (they thought)
interest in the Macintosh platform...
