[MacPerl] Review of "MacPerl: Power and Ease"

Karl-Peter Gottschalk has written a very nice review of The Book:

.shtml

His review says some _very_ nice things about us:

  *  Rating: 5 Ozzes
     Pros: The best and the only book on the excellent Mac port of Perl.
     Cons: Ain't none.

  *  A damn fine book

     Vicki Brown and Chris Nandor can take the credit for making learning
     Perl from the ground up seem like a worthwhile and not so difficult
     experience. The book is beautifully set out and their writing is
     clear and succinct. So entertaining is it in fact that I find myself
     picking up MacPerl Power and Ease to idly leaf through it at odd
     moments throughout the day, whilst firing up the MacPerl application
     to gaze wistfully at it. I'm infected!

  * MacPerl is an excellent albeit sometimes quirky programming language,
     and MacPerl Power and Ease is the best introduction you could possibly
     get.

Thanks, Karl-Peter, and thanks once again to the folks on this list who
helped us make it a book that Karl-Peter could like this well!
